I have finally perfected my exhaust!

I wasn't satisfied with my ZZP turbo back with the muffler. I went to their website and they had an option to ask a question about a product so I asked about the construction of their muffler. I was curious if it was a 3 chamber or if they might have a pic of the construction, but they actually DENIED my question. That left me a bit irritated and lost as to how to move forward. After a couple weeks of exhaust videos and research I decided with the Dynomax 24215. I had no idea how it was going to be tbh. It's a straight through. Made a video today.

Compared to the ZZP turbo back I would say it has a much more aggressive note. More throaty, lots of popping, and is maybe a tad more loud at cruising. PURRRRSS at idle. (love that haha) Well... just watch and see...opcorn:

I definitely like the way it sounds! It's got a nice deep growl to it. That's great!

I think it has gotten a little louder actually. I can deal with it though.

All exhausts will break in after a little while and sound a little louder and slightly different. I bet it still sounds great!

Anybody have a video of factory turbo back with catback removed? So no muffler? Curious how it would sound. I might run it until I get money for a turbo back and tune.

Anybody have a 1.8 with secondary catalytic converter deleted and custom exhaust? I am curious on the sound and heavily thinking about removing secondary cat on mine. Just worried about spending the money and not being happy with it. My current setup is on one of the previous pages as a youtube link.

Now taking suggestions for catback system. Will be doing downpipe after school. So I am looking for something that will sound good as a stand alone catback system for now and turbo back down the road

So, I'm curious as to if the 1.4T ZZP hatchback exhaust will fit the RS hatch. On the site, if I select RS it only gives the option with the muffler, if I select just the hatchback, it gives both muffler and no muffler. Any insight? Will they both match up, or is there a reason the RS only gives a muffler option?

Tips will change. Rs will have dual tips and others will have 3"tip I believe. So if you are going to change tip any ways or don't mind a single big tip go for it

Thanks Sneezer! I think I'm going to get the RS with the muffler. I'm afraid the straight pipe will be too loud for me and hopefully the ZZP with muffler and no second cat will give me that deep throaty sound I'm looking for.

Anybody know if I do a turbo back exhaust will I need to do a tune or can I drive it around without the engine light to come on. I was gonna do a tune ones I get my CAI installed but that won't be for another month or two.
