How do you know if you have heated mirrors?

If it ever freezes/fogs over, turn on your defroster and don't touch the mirrors. If they're defrosted/defogged a few minutes later, you have them.

LT's definitely have them. I can vouch for that. We've only had one morning since I bought my car that's been above 32 degrees when I woke up. Very unusually cold this year. Should be about 5-10 degrees warmer.

We do! The heated mirrors come on with the rear defroster. It's in the owner's manual, which IMO a good salesman would have read already.

Hi, do your driver side mirror comes flat o convex?

I want to change my non-heated convex mirror for the heated one but all i found is the heated flat. And don't know if there is a heated convex mirror version cause don't want to lose the wide viewer angle.

Passenger side mirrors on cars in the US are convex. Regulations here do not permit convex mirrors on the driver's side.

Does anybody know how to take the mirror glass off the base unit?

Are you talking about the whole piece of glass being convex? Or just that little 1" convex circle near the outside edge that acts as a blind spot mirror? Because both my driver and passenger mirror are the latter. With heated mirrors, of course.

Yes, the whole piece is convex, and bring me a lot of viewing angle that's why i don't want a flat mirror, by the way i live in México City, so maybe all the Sonic versions here come with convex driver side mirror but non-heated.

Perhaps an asian version has both convex and heated, i'll make the search...

Danny's car isn't exactly normal so even if she has an LT there is no way to be sure it has heated mirrors.

I'm pretty sure that is why she asked.

I think all LT and up models have them.
I guess you could turn your rear defroster on for 10 minutes or so and then feel to see if the mirror glass is warm.

In fact you can feel how the mirror gets warm when you turn the defroster on.
