What did you hear for a trade in?

Just got my civic back today. Haven't gone to the dealer.

I would be looking to sell it outright. Not "trade it in" per say.

The autotrader guarantee says $8300 and is eligible at the dealer I bought the car. I'll prolly try and get it a little higher than that.

Good luck, my guarantee on my RS said 12k, they only offered 9k and wouldn't go higher.

Is your car stock? My car is stone stock and I filled out the autotrader thing completely accurate so I don't see them changing that offer.

I put it back to stock except for the black paint on all the chrome exterior trim, and I had the tune on it but then didn't even take it for a test drive for them saying it's only worth 9k.

Yeah I could see them making a lower offer if the exterior is altered.

Oh well, we'll find out soon. Hoping to get it in for some warranty work tomorrow

Took it in for the autotrader trade in today.

Gave me exactly what the online quote was. Great service. Only took 1 1/2 hours.
