So you listed stock part numbers for the same part that is currently in the engine that is produced in the same factory as the exact same 1.8 used in Europe. How is this proving that the 1.6T parts are the same and therefor capable of holding up to supposed 300 HP?
The 1.6 and 1.8 rods and rod pins and rod bearings are the same part numbers as far as hard parts go.
The only way the the stock 1.8 holds the 300hp or close to it is with the cometic low comp head gasket and the arp.
