40k is the warranty against defects...there is no tread life warranty on any tire that I know of.

You can buy the roadside hazard warranty from discount tire. so worth it.

I bought a new filter today. The K&N filter that came with my ZZP intake was FILTHY. Recommended to clean every 10k miles, more frequently if you live in dusty weather. I'm in El Paso; should have changed it a long time ago. Went to O'reilly's and bought a Spectre oiled filter.

why didn't I clean the K&N and reapply oil? because I'm lazy and a new filter was $20.
