If they said it was a warm air intake or designed for fuel economy, something like that, I would have absolutely no problem with it. If somebody installed it and claimed that they really felt the increased power, I'd still call them a moron, post a dyno sheet, and move on.

Pretty much ... idk about power I like the small milage increase and idk it seems to run free er at higher rpm I'll have to stick the stock box back on and check

The Injen actually shows a power loss for most of the powerband with a very slight gain up towards to the top. The stock airbox is seriously better. I'm sure rdss has the dyno chart post already copied. You'd make more power by stabbing your stock airbox with a machete.

TTR posted Injen's dyno chart and it barely stayed above the stock air box the whole way and only got about 3-4 HP and Trq over the all mighty stock air box if you're tuned (which is Dave from DDM's dyno set up, same tune with stock, Injen and DDM intakes on the same car same day) the Injen just didn't do very well at all. Even with the 4 HP/Trq TTR's dyno showed any large boost in but dyno perfomance is attributed to the new intake sound that's present with the open filter design. If you're happy with your intake who cares what anyone else says, it's still proven facts that the Injen is pretty much for looks and sound.

OK are we talking about the 1.4 or 1.8 Cuz I would imagine that the dyno reasons would be different with different engines

It's the 1.4 for DDM's comparison. The link above for TTR's higher Trq than HP would indicate the same for Injen's intake vs the stocker.
