The stock air box is more than enough to do the job. They account for the filter to get plugged up during the change interval. They make it large enough to be effective during that time.
With that said, the Injen intake is better at MPG than raw power. Heated air changes the fueling and how much is used given under load. The Injen is sold under the wrong terms. Don't believe me, look at Ecomodder forums.
With that said, if you want real power plumb the air box into the hatchback section. Just the sound alone will give you at least 35 HP. Plus, the air is so clean in the cabin due to the HEPA filter you might not need a filter at all!

Why thank you eric, I've got one where the sun is shining behind the airbox, my thought was that it would look like the monolith from 2001 space odysessy and that its the best thing ever. Unfournately its hard to see so I opted for my current pic. Its scenic!!!

Put it behind the driver. That way when I fart I get an extra boost in power. It would be like free NOS!!!
