Kick flip gimmick? Sorry, don't know what that means, lol. I don't know who they're aiming the car at, but I think they're hitting more than what they aimed for.

that is what I meant .The demographic is way more than just the first time byres . We have 30 40 50 60's . The car is hitting the heart strings of a lot more then the 18 - 20 somethings that they have been aiming for . you know the kids who like the bungee and the para shoot and kick flip gimmicks . Its All good imho .:banana:

I'm going on 65 and do a lot of research before I buy anything. Last Chevy I owned was a '59 Impala back in the 60's, so no brand loyalty. I own a Dodge Cummins 1 ton because of the engine. Also a Subaru Outback because it is the ultimate Alaskan car, but fuel mileage is only 25. Needed a commuter and wanted 40 mpg without the added expense and complexity of hybrid. Sonic looks good, great safety ratings, good handling, fun to drive, priced competitively, American made, and I can order exactly what I want through a local dealer. The risk is that it is a brand new model and none of us knows if any design flaws will pop up in the next year or two. So far, reviews are very good! Mine should be put together next week!
