How to get Abarth Sound (or close to it)

Don't do it young blood, it's not worth it. It's fun for like a week but the car isn't fast enough to make that much noise :/ So everybody tries to race and you're really just trying to get some damn fritos at 3 AM but all the ricer Hondas wanna go. .-. I miss it though.

I keep saying I'm gonna straight pipe my car again but as of right now I need to fix my car and a big part of it is listening to whatever weird noise pops up next. :/

Mines been making noises but hopefully today's wrenching should remedy that God awful lifter spasm

I mean by that logic, the Abarth isn't fast enough either. There are more quicker Sonics out there than Abarths I'm sure. I know what you mean though, it's funny that the only drivers that want to race the Sonic on the street are guys in Hondas. Sometimes I give them what they want and it ends badly for them lol.
If you like the sound OP, have fun with it! I really liked the sound of the stock cats/downpipe + the DDM works resonator only cat-back. I don't think they offer this anymore, but wouldn't hurt to call them or search around for a used one.

Mine make random noises whenever I do something. The newest one is a very loud kind of vibration noise that literally seems to be coming from the engine or the turbo. I'm pretty sure it's from the charge pipes though. I tried to fix my boost leak this past weekend and it didn't go so well so I'll have to take off my bumper again :|
The abarth isn't too loud from the factory though. A set up I personally enjoy the sound of is the stock downpipe and then the ZZP delete on everything starting from the second cat back. I think that sounds pretty sweet. I don't mind the ZZP resonator either though.

I can assure you unless heavily modded, there aren't any quicker. I used to own one and regret every day trading it in for this car.. The Abarth could smoke these Sonics in every aspect.. You have to realize the Fiat 500 Abarth was designed from the ground up. These "cheap" Sonics were just GM's cheazy after thought to throw out a small econobox quickly and cheaply slapped together to compete with other small cars. The RS badging on mine is a joke. I have a 2016 RS sedan that has already gone through two shifters because the linkage clips fall off and leave you stranded. It has happened to me twice already and the car didn't even have 3000 miles on it... The car had to be towed twice to the dealer for this. Completely uncalled for a new car. You can't even power shift this thing without fear of it happening again. When you have to "baby" and granny shift a supposed "sport" model of a car, it's not worth owning.. Not to mention the ac sucks as well. Will have to take it back to the dealer and have that checked out as well. Apparently, GM hasn't changed at all...

Did the drone noise, vibrate the sh!t out of your dashboard, I have had a off and on loud vibrating noise that I thought was the CAI heat shield but now I'm not sure. It may also be in the dashboard itself
