We've been using Mickey for after market audio since he opened his Keego Harbor store - yep, I'm that old.
$190 plus capacitor, which I see as a good price since the front fascia has to come off to replace the headlamps with the Eagle Eyes.
My question has not been answered. TRS says none is needed but one was included. Mickey installed using two and there is no flickering and the lights come on and go off as expected. For me, an answer is not needed but for another doing an install an answer might be helpful.

After seeing your pics with the eagle eyes, I'm more convinced that this will be a mod I will do soon. Looks sweet! I'll probably get it done at the same Warren Micky Shorr as well since they are a mile from my work.

If you wired the relay correctly it would not flicker. There may be another issue there that a capacitor may help but shouldnt be needed.

Yeah, I always thought it was the relays. I didn't wire them, I used an HID kit from DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting with two of their relay harnesses to boot. I didn't see how to run both from one kit, so I used two (very well could be wrong in doing that)

Not needed for the Seibon hood I am using which weighs about 14lbs and has the vented hood. I would use them if the hood was not vented (the oem version) or if the hood was "dry" CF which likely weighs about 8lbs whether vented or not. 2.5 years in use.

You have a year or two because the hood comes with a UV clear coat, which worked well for me for over two years.

I have suggested getting a Corvette quality clear coat for the hood but on the way to anyone trying that I several minutes ago went out to use ICE detail on my hood and noticed something: much of the fading has disappeared. Last week I detailed my Corvair and as always used traditional Turtle liquid wax. I always use Turtle Wax ICE (synthetic) on my modern cars such as the Sonic but after applying the Corvair was and waiting for it to dry I put some on the Sonic hood. There is a noticeable improvement in the hood's appearance. I admit I am surprised and pleased and post this for anyone using the Seibon hood as a heads up.
I do not know why old style seems to have worked where new style has not. It defies my common sense but I will check often to see if this is effective for more than a week.

Hmm interesting. I don't have a big fear of fading I think it is inevitable but it would be awesome if this works.

I love that wax, just found it at pep boys. I hate the wax that turns plastic white, and then is a PIA to get off.
they reccomend putting this stuff on black plastic.

Don't think so. I got the hood because of the vents (as a way to reduce heat in the engine compartment) and if RKSport or another had a fiberglass vented hood, that would have been my choice. But I am very happy with the Seibon as it does exactly what I wanted: allows engine compartment heat a way out. Not to mention the other after market body parts makers still do not have a vented hood, as far as I know.
That said, doing fenders and rear in CF to go along with the hood would "pop" but I am too conservative to willingly attract that much attention.

No problems in two and a half years. And there are a lot of extra wiring between he HIDs and the gauges.
I see no problem painting it but you lose the weave unless you go with a semi-transparent which I am told is possible.
