I plan on pairing the sided following the curvature of the hood I also plan on doing the fenders but also having them painted except for above the wheels and tires that fender line I want to remain carbon fiber and I plan to do the hatch but paint all except what's around the license plate.

So just hints of cf here or there.

I just plugged the camera in so it will be a while before I can post pictures of the front splitter just installed Tuesday. This is a true splitter so it will be interesting to see how it compares to the front lip I once had.

First I broke it in half, in New Orleans, than I ground the driver side prtion down driving from New Orleans to Destin, FL, where I knew my brother in law had tools. The end result is I left the pieces in FL. I should have left the golf clubs, but that is hindsight.

I would not be surprised to learn someone picked it out of the trash and is driving around in the Florida panhandle. It was fiberglass and possibly repairable, which I have learned since then.

So that's what happened and no, I can not sell it to you.

Aw that's sad.

Oh well, I agree with everyone else. I think your car looks pretty awesome! Love the new splitter.

I got the headlamp system off of ebay ($379) and the HID kit from The Retrofit Source and install by Mickey Shorr's on Van **** at 14 Mile. The headlamps came with the projectors installed.

They come with H7 bulbs and to use the units you will need H11 to H7 connectors.

As far as I can tell, they are non North American headlamps. GM produces 80K NA Sonics per model year and likely two or three times that number for the rest of the world.

The HID kit was $150 plus shipping and install $180. If you can do the install than you will have a cost effective upgrade; even sdding in the install I have a cost effective upgrade.
