LED CANBUS Etc

I've used several brands of LEDs for headlights and interior dome/map/courtesy lights for over 2 years now on 3 different GM vehicles and have not gotten any "errors" or CANBUS issues.
Most of the newer LED headlights these days draw sufficient current (+2,3 to 2.5 amps) which seems to be enough to NOT trigger the BCM sensing a burnt out bulb.

Just to close this out
To close the thread (maybe) here is how my story ended.
I installed LEDs in:
fog lights
Headlights hi and low
reverse lights
brake lights
rear side markers
license plate
rear cargo compartment
interior cabin (blue)
interior map
no codes, no problems except the aiming issues on the headlights, which I solved.
the culprit there was the bulbs not seating in the housing flat, so the element was not centered in the reflector. Once I settled that the headlights aim perfectly.
I am holding on the turn signals (front and rear) just because the load resistors are a royal pain in the ass.
The fog lights are amazing now with the LED's. had I only done those it would have been worth the time and effort.
