Maybe I'm Just Too Big

This is an "Interior" topic, rather than an ICE one. My "new to me" 2014 LT hatchback is perfect in every way .. except one. I can't find any place to put my left leg when driving. The driver's door pocket sort-of bulges out to (I guess) hold large items, but it digs into my rather ample calf muscle. I'm trying to train myself to stop putting my leg there, but the bruise is visible now .

So, if anybody who's experienced this has any creative suggestions, I'm all ears. Well, eyes.

I searched around the forum a bit for this topic. Didn't find it mentioned so far. Apologies if this has been covered a lot already. By big people. With beefy legs.

Try resting your foot on the dead petal and keeping your leg straight --- maybe a small thin pillow between you & the door ?

For Wifey's Jeep grand-o-key -- I gots a center console arm rest / pad that was a little over 1/2" thick -- looked leather-ish ( vinyl ) -- something like that -- double stick velcro tape it to the door so its always there ------ till you lose some weight -- LOL

LOL, right? This car will force me to thin down a bit. Heading to wally-world to see what I can put together from there for well-behaved padding.

Because of age and a few other reasons -- I lost 2" -- I'm almost ready to fit into a Spark ---- really -- LOL
