My Sonic noises

Hmm I doubt it. But since it is a global car and nobody seems to complain about our issue, that may be true.
I´ve inspected my car today and found that the 2nd noise comes from the intake. Some friend of mine who is an engineer told me that this could be an ECU failure, causing the intake system to oscilate and taking the air in a big amount, small time pulses and causing this annoying noise and irregular idle RPM range.

Well, this is a theory bassed on watching the car. I don´t know if this can be true, but it does match with our problems.
If this is true, we are screwed.

Thanks poncho. I´m doing a lot of reading in that subforum. I´m seeing that other members are experiencing pulsating idle like me on their engines. That´s interesting because mine is 1.6 Ecotec. We don´t have 1.8 or 1.4T.

Ramiro I'm from Uruguay and I have the same problem as you.
(sorry for my English is bad)

Here in Uruguay nobody is responsible for the noise. In chevrolet tell me that is normal!!
