Okay, you guys will be disappointed.
There's two types of animation on our Mylinks.
1: When you start the car and get that little Mylink logo animation...that's an .AVI file called start_ani_1.avi. It's short and has some size and length requirements to make it work really right
2: There's a BUNCH of files on our Mylinks that aren't used, or are, but are what's called .png files. (Portable Network Graphics), these are basically image files without backgrounds. So it could be a picture of a cat, but there's no background...it's just "clear"
When you're listening to the radio (XM, AM or FM) that little weird animation on the right, that's a series of .PNG files (10 in all normally) running one after the other... like a flipbook animation.... it just looks like a .AVI file or similar.
So the EQ is just a new animation too. The image he posted up top is an example.. I'll take a video of mine and post in a bit, but it's just images, totally nothing to do with an actual EQ.
There's also a standby screen image or AVI I've not done yet... and the main "page" image (where you select radio, or phone, or smartphone link) has more PNG images I've not tampered with either...
When you get into the Mylink development mode, it's really just Windows CE...you need to use a pencil with an eraser as a stylus to select (small screen)
I'll post pics here very soon....
It's odd, but makes your setup custom if you want.
