Spamming --- My Sonic has some roaring type noise while driving, but as soon as I put the car in neutral or just depress the clutch the sounds go away.

I'm not all that mechanically inclined, but appears to be something with the clutch or transmission.

Has anyone had something similar? 2012 Sonic LT with 5 speed.

Sounds first happened a month or two back but did not stay. They stopped after a couple of days and reappeared this week.
