why didn't they give it the twin turbo 2.0L LTG I4 and AWD?

Why aren't tiny engines supercharged? Turbo does bigger numbers, but only if you got the RPMs to create enough exhaust to spin the thing. A supercharger could make 14lbs of boost instantly and have linear HP gains.
