The 5.3L LS4 V8 is made to fit transversely. The transmission is weak and dumb with the starter on it, but 300HP

LS3 6.2L V8 with AWD in a Sonic. They had to add weight to make class. Why is this not the offered SS trim?

Why is the Sonic's 1.4L LUJ & LUV engine made with a cast iron block? Thing weighs 100lbs more than an aluminum one.

87 oct recommended for the 1.4L. Do not do this! They have a fair amount of knock on stock tune. Run 91 or 93. The second the ECU detects knock it pulls timing and your power and fuel efficiency suffers.

The AWD system for the Trax would fit with driveshaft work, but it would be a whole lot cooler with a longitudinal setup.
