new muffler

I installed this today.

The angled inlet and outlet put the outlet at just the right height. So far, I'm a little disappointed in the sound. It's fairly quite. I didn't want it overly loud and it does have a deeper tone than stock, but I was hoping for just a bit more. I guess I'll give it some time. Being a glasspack, it should get louder with age.

I don't think the OP's muffler looks bad at all! It's tucked up under the car pretty nicely and the tip is exposed. A ricer exhaust would be hanging down for all to see the whole damn muffler.

As for the glasspack dvn installed, I'm betting it sounds a lot like my Magnaflow, deep but mellow. Mine has gotten a little louder over time and I've gotten used to it. I think it sounds about right now, but I want to hear moar turbo spooling, so I'm probably going to get an intake sooner than I planned.

Exactly. It has a nice deep rumble at lower rpm. It actually has gotten a little louder already. I definitely didn't want anything obnoxiously loud. I think it's going to be just right!

Got a muffler yesterday and got it installed today. I liked the way NextLegend's exhaust sounded so I got a very similar muffler. It's a DC Sports muffler with a 2.25 inlet to 3.25 outlet exhaust. Picked it up from Advance Auto Parts (store very similar to Pep Boys). Will upload a video later on today.
