Hey Scotiez I saw you today turning onto N Washington from Demers. I had to fill up for the first time tonight, 370 miles later. I got 37.2 Mpg at an average speed of about 30 Mph. Which means about 90% city driving! Not too shabby for a 29 Mpg rating! I hope you are enjoying your car cause I sure am! LONG LIVE SONIC!

I was probably on my way home. I live right there by university and washington. That is great milage. have you had it on the interstate yet? I love the feel of this car. you can't even tell that its a small car, it feels like a much bigger car. I got almost 35mpg when i was on the interstate with mine, and i have been getting like 28 to 30mpg in town. And yeah i am enjoying my Sonic as well. Chevy done good on this one

I have been on the interstate just for short trips to break up the lower rpm city driving. I love the way it handles on the interstate as well. I thought I would have been blowing all over but the car held its ground. Speaking of Interstate, I raced my buddies Mustang. It was just a V6 auto but it had aftermarket exhaust and CAI. We started at 65 and I took him! I was in 3rd gear starting. It put a big smile on my face knowing that these little subcompacts can take mustangs BTW, are you going to do anything to your car as far as mods? I will be getting a Stage 1 from Trifecta. You will see my sonic parked on the corner of 6th Ave N and 25th right across from University Park.

I don't think i will be doing anything for mod right now. When i looked at the sonics i got pretty much everything i wanted. I got the 16 inch wheels and foglight package, and the connections and cruise package. I thought about the LTZ but i didn't want leather and a sunroof was not important to me. I also didn't want the 17 inch wheels. What are you doing this weekend .. I sent you a pm with my number if you want to get together to talk about our sonics LOL that would be kinda cool.

I have to work all weekend. I get off at 0200 Sat night / Sun morning but otherwise I work Tonight-Sunday. I have Mon-Tues off so maybe we could meet up then unless you want to meet up after 0200. I have been averaging 43 mpg so far on 91 octane which is nice. Driving like a grandma's grandma but hey, it's 43 Mpg! Let me know about meeting up though.

Your using 91 octane? Will that give you better mileage? I have been using 89 octane. I haven't been getting that kind of mileage butbim pretty happy with what I am getting. I used to have a jeep wrangler and that thing only got 10 to 13 mpg. That's the main reason I bought the sonic. Plus I wanted something a little stylish, it's definitely got style I will probably be sleeping at 2 am, but I usually get up around 4 to go to the gym. What time do you go to work? We could meet up before if you want.

Yea it burns hotter so it will last longer so I guess yeah better mileage. Yours might not get to be like mine just because I have the 6M and I shift at like ~1500 rpm. I should be up around 4 though so I could meet you at Anytime around then or anywhere really. I go to work at 1900 but I workout before then so that might not work for me. And 10-13 mpg is pretty low compared to the sonic. I agree with the style too. ESPECIALLY the Inferno Orange.

Anytime after 4 is fine for me. Just let me know what time is best for you. Haha so you like the orange alot too. I love that color. I like black too but I have had a black car before and they are soo hard to keep clean, and if you get a little scratch it shows up 100 times more than any other color.

Either would be good the Ralph probably, I live right across the street from VD, but the Ralph would be better for pictures.
