Yay! I finally got on the site!

For my first post, I thought I'd go here. I'm in Fargo, and my wife and I have a nice red Sonic sedan! To my knowledge, it's the only red one in town. There's also a silver one, but I don't know who owns that one.

Welcome, In Grand Forks there are getting a few sonics now.. both Sedans and Hatchbacks, I bought mine in March, I was the 9 one to purchase one in town. How ever when i bought mine they didn't have what i wanted so they did a search and found what i wanted at Gateway Chevrolet in Fargo, they did a dealer trade so i could have the car i wanted. Awesome job.

We ended up getting our Sonic from Nereson in Detroit Lakes. We had to purchase one from dealer stock because if we'd ordered one just the way we wanted it, we may, or may not, have had it in time to start our daughter's college adventures.

When we talked to Gateway, they didn't have a single Sonic in stock; the only one they'd had was sold and waiting for its owner to pick it up. They didn't seem too interested in selling us a Sonic anyway, but boy did they want to put us in a Cruz!

Nereson had four in stock and the one we bought we close enough to what we wanted that we were able to make the deal on our first trip out there. We picked it up four days later, all ready to go. The people at Nereson were really good to deal with and I'd go there again. Gateway? I really don't think I'd go back there again, and we'd bought a car there before and been satisfied with them; it's why we'd gone back there to begin with.

Welcome photoman, I bought mine from Rydell's in Grand Forks. they didn't have the sonic i wanted either.. I could order one which they said would take about 8 weeks to get in or do the vehical search and see who had what i was looking for. Gateway had the one i wanted and they did the dealer trade so i could have my sonic. When i bought mine Rydell's didn't have a single hatchback in stock, all they had was sedans and i wanted the hatch. I've had it since march and its been a great little car. I made a good choice choosing the Sonic by Chevrolet.

I'm glad to report there is another Sonic in Fargo-it's a black hatchback that gets parked at the same bank building I work in. I haven't seen the owner yet to have a chat. I'm hoping to at some point!

So that is at least three, including mine, that I know of!
