My boss was actuall helping me clean it lol. And getting the right piping for my intercooler set it will but i have to get a 90 degree silicone elbow for it tho for my intake tube.

you sir are my idol. iv wanted to tell you for so long, i'v been following this for a while now but can't comment because for some reason my phone app wouldn't let me sign in i finally got to tell you that I'm so happy your doing this its the only reason iv been putting off buying my headers. any way thank you i would be so happy if my 1.8 made a cho-cho noise lol keep up the work and as soon as your done and tuned im doing it. no hesitation even if its just 8 psi i would be ecstatic any way cant wait to see the progress and im glad to know you aren't a quitter like the others.

Quick question to my 1.4 guys who is following this.. The intercooler sensor that is on the charge piping will i really need that??

Well.... You will want a bar sensor. 2 bar is probably enough if you don't plan on boosting over 10psi. So the first question is, does the 1.8 already have a bar sensor in the intake manifold?

If not, the post IC charge pipe is an acceptable location.

The next question is, can the 1.8 ECU be tuned to read boost from a bar sensor?

I suppose MAF reading alone could be adequate, and you could run a mechanical boost gauge. But I imagine a tune that can use feedback from a bar sensor would be preferable.

I don't have any experience when it comes to adding boost to a N/A engine. But these are the questions that pop into my mind. I have a buddy that runs a push-through turbo set-up on a non-computer carb with great success, but fuel injection need feedback to determine how much fuel to apply.

Well...if thats the case i was thinkng about running my MAF for the intercooler piping tho.....but now i will have re-work somethns i that wont work
