How are you handling tuning intercooler injectors and exhaust?

Tuning thru trifecta and Ddmworks intercooler im usin a stock 1.4 one and 42lb injectors and a custom turbo back

I wish you luck with your build as I will continue to watch it closely, but I have some personal concerns if that was my project.
1) I don't think that manifold will bolt to our 1.8 head
2) at a couple psi I don't think you will have to up injector size.
3) have you contacted trifecta yet?

After months of research and comparing im sure that it will bolt on. Also i have compared the exhaust mani gasket from a chevy aveo which has the same engine as the corsa vxr to the 1.8 in our sonics...they are identical.

The part numbers don't match for the gaskets under vaxhall or opel for the Corsa vxr but it could fit. Here is ths part number for the 2011 aveo Stock Code 12992396

I work for autozone and carmax so i have supply for both of the parts. I ordered a 1.8 manifold gasket and a aveo 1.6 (which is the same as the corsa 1.6T) and compared them. Same thing. Also i did research about the engines as well. My conclusion...the 1.8 is just a bored out/stroked 1.6
Not trying to be an ass but comparing part numbers isnt going to do it for me..u need to physically see and compare and thats what i did..

Went to my local chevy dealership an picked this up. I had them do a cross reference with the 2011 chevy aveo as well..same part number. Also the 1.6 aveo is the same as the 1.6 corsa (1598cc) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I own the 1.6 Aveo and if the turbo fits mine it will fit yours...kinda jealous. I contacted about 3 salvage yards over there n they didn't even respond. I do have a turbo manifold on commission as we speak, but its going to be tough as we r working thru e mail n shooting measurements n designs back n forth. I don't want to hi jack the thread but Ill post a pic if it works out 4 me. Good luck, Chris, n Ill be following u on ur build
