Keep us posted on ship time. I'm curious as I ordered mine in Grand Blanc, so you would think that once they're built they'll be there instantly. I wonder if theres a way you could just pick it up at the factory...
He called again just a few minutes ago. It's in. I'm going to go pick it up tonight after work.
To recap for those playing along at home, here is the complete order history/timeline from the GMConnects site:

09/19/2011 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.
09/21/2011 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.
09/21/2011 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.
09/22/2011 (3100) Order available to sequence.
09/23/2011 (3300) Order scheduled for production. Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle.
10/01/2011 (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.
10/11/2011 (3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. For Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers, please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates as no further updates available at this time.
10/14/2011 (4000) Vehicle available to ship.
10/14/2011 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
10/17/2011 (4150) Invoiced (order is invoiced to the dealer).
10/17/2011 (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
10/17/2011 (4200) Shipped (vehicle is shipped to the dealer or interim point of delivery).
Just a few days over 5 weeks from beginning to end.
So no one has to scan previous posts, the vehicle in question is a white, 1LT 5 door, 1.4T, with connectivity/cruise option.
