Oil on Spark Plugs

Must have been a 2 or 1-cyl. A 4 will run on 3 quite well until you push it under load..

Yea old 2-stroke, 2 cylinder. It woulda been cool if I wasn't out in the middle of the lake...

The two thoughts I had were already covered. Either you spilled a little oil down there when you were changing it, or you've got a tiny leak in your valve cover gasket. A cracked valve cover is also a possible culprit. Considering how little oil it is, none of those are serious. Just wipe the plugs off and if it comes back or gets worse, consider replacing parts.

Worst case, that valve cover is $41.22 + shipping on gmpartsdirect and comes with the gasket. They're easy to replace, just don't overtighten.
