That mph seems a little low (I recently purchased pretty much an identical car to you).
What octane were you running? Did you no-lift-shift? Did you pull the ABS/traction fuse? What were your 60' times like?

ABS fuse was pulled, pretty sure I don't have no lift shift with the base Trifecta tune,,and the car would not build boost on the line, so my best 60' was 2.47, or in other words, f'in horrible.... I tried slipping the clutch, no luck, tried spinning the tires a little, and it was about the same. Mph has pretty much nothing to do with the launch or shifting, although NLS would probably help some. I was using 93 octane.
I don't think that is it. The ecu will free Rev the engine to 3500 rpm or so, but when it gets to that point, you have to mash,the gas to get it to go higher in the Rev range. I think it's in the stock throttle by wire programming, to avoid higher revving. I figured the trifecta tune would fix that but I'm guessing not now that I know what it's doing on the starting line.
Hopefully when I upgrade the tune I can get a stationary Rev limit/2 step, as well as no lift shift, and that should help out drapmatically.

Just finished reading your build love what you have done so far! Just curious what was the temperature around when you went the the strip? I went to the track this week (70 deg) and i am having similar issues as you with the launch. All 3 runs my 60' was right around the 2.5 sec mark. Once i get that down i have no doubt I will be in the 14's. This is my first FWD car though so i feel i have more learning to do (the stock Hancoocks don't help) as i had mustang gt and camaro z28 in the past.
Sadly Trifecta currently doesn't offer 2 step. I believe they were looking into 2 step a long time ago and many of us have been requesting it but i haven't seen a response in quite a long time in regards to this.
Sorry, I meant to respond to this a while ago but I got busy. The temp was 70° or just over, I don't know what the DA was that day. My intake temps were roughly 120° at the starting line. I was running Shell 93 octane gas, and I had removed somewhere around 145lbs from the car (pass seat, back seats, spare, some panels....).
For the car to only trap 87mph, I feel that either the tune is pulling timing due to the 120° intake temps (which in reality should only pull a degree or two...), or maybe the gas wasn't as good as I thought.... Either way, 87mph is hardly better than stock from what I have been reading.
rsSteve: what was your mph for the quarter? I read a couple other people trapping around 92mph with just the tune.
I may switch back to the stock airbox, and just run a K&N panel filter, as my intake temps stayed much cooler with it.
On to a side note, I did just install a downpipe, and I love the way the exhaust sounds now! When I get some time I will be porting the intake and ordering the "+" tune from Trifecta, and hopefully after they look at my datalog they can see what's doing what with my car.

Just adding a small update. I removed the tumblers from the intake, and put the downpipe back on. The transmission was just replaced under warrenty due to some crappy synchros. Odd thing was I found out they just replaced the transmission right before I purchased the car.
Anyway, I also upgraded to the Advantage+ tune since I added these mods. The car does feel a little better, but it still feels like it's not as quick as others are running with less mods. I'm thinking a compression check is in order....

Sorry I missed your post. My fastest trap was 92.8 mph on a 70* day. I later found out i had a small boost leak. My first and slowest run was 88 mph. For that run, I was heat soaked, Intake Temp was 130*, as I was staged for a long time before they let me go.
