Did u remove it? What's the spring sitting on, the frame? So would you say it's cool to cut the spring perch?

Directly to the frame. How would you cut it? Just remove it that'll be at the lowest height

I feel as if I removed it the spring wouldn't be as secure into the cup/frame . I was going to take it out and cut it down with a power bench saw that can cut though aluminum / steel. I was gonna take 2 inches off

Need more low...Coilovers or Eibachs? It's a DD so I'm leaning towards the Eibachs.

If I would have kept my Sonic I would have ended up with the Eibachs, unless you plan on auto crossing your DD.

Depends on the person. For me it was for sure - being able to stiffen the shocks up and drive it like a bouncy race car is worth it alone to me lolol

Well, this is good to know. I wanna go lower and a set of Eibach for 200/300 seems affordable enough. But I don't need the car to ride like **** either. Southern AZ doesn't have the smoothest roads.

Your ride will be fine with Eibach's. barch was saying he wanted to be able to adjust rebound for a rougher "because race car" ride which is only available with a adjustable shock coil over set up making the 500-600+ cost worth it to him. If you just want a drop for looks springs alone will be fine for you.
