You guys make it sound ultra challenging, I did mine at home in about an hour and a half, out/smoothed/in doneopcorn:
ps- I'm not an expert but this wasn't my first time porting something, the porting for me took 10-15 minutes
Glad to hear maybe tomorrow or friday I will do it and let you know how it turns out. I have an intake secondary cat delete and full 2.5 stainless all the way back. I really hate that stupid 6200 rpm stop. The car is not geared well for that. Does adding the trifecta tune help with that btw??I ran mine without a tune for about 5000 miles, never noticed any drivability issues or changes to fuel economy.
An hour & half is pretty good, Its really not that bad if one has any mechanical inclanation. I spent more time cleaning than porting,
Ol Blue what did you use for porting?? I'm still playing around with what works well on plastic, and all I know is I've had the best luck with my set of carbide cutters for steel/aluminum
