I'm surprised somebody else hasn't done the Vaux wheels yet. If I could've only done one appearance/performance mod to my Sonic, I'd give up all the others for the wheels. I love them.

Maybe making those indents near the outside edges of the front lip black too?

I hear ya. The wheels are a little "busy" for me. And I'm glad you wouldn't have a problem with me "copying" some of your look. Basically, your stripes (black on white) and your front lip idea ("B") were the ideas I was thinking. Plus doing the same on the rear lip for the sedan. The GM lip kit for the sedan is clean imo. I so can't wait to get home to start having some fun with my sonic.

If I may make a suggestion about the stripes. If you do them, stop them at the fists fender contour like I did. I've seen a few that ran all the way down and I think it looks overbearing.

I have considered that idea, but there is no discernible boundary to stop the black.

I'll whip it up on PShop and post an example though.

The way you did yours was what I was thinking actually. minus the outline color. I typically am more for 2 color schemes vs multi colors. Not saying your set up doesn't work, just not what I go for. On my cobalt I ended with Blue/Gold/Black and it was too busy. I was saving up to get the black painted blue before I found out that the brake system was fried and traded the car in.

On stripes: What is your opinion on doing a stripe bigger than a pin stripe but not more than 3" that fallow the body line across the doors? I'm not able to use photoshop just yet (waiting for my nexus 7 to arrive).
