Problem on 1.4T CEL P1101

I'm experiencing an annoying problem on my car. It's and Opel Corsa 1.4T, wich holds the same motor as the cruze, A14NEL. I'm getting the P1101 check engine light pretty much every two days. First i've read that's related to the MAF sensor being out of range (now i've been told it's air intake performance), so I bought a new Bosch MAF from eBay, cleared the code with OP-COM, no change, P1101 again in after 50-100 KM. I don't see any obvious difference on the performance of the car, either have any other code. Have been figthing with this for about 3 months. I live in Chile, so I don't really have access to many parts, since GM doesn't sell the turbo version of the CRUZE, SONIC here and not many people drive OPEL cars, so I want to know your opinions/experiencies before throwing expensive parts. I've checked the PCV disc next to the oil filler, no noise, either air sucktion. Should i try replacing the PCV hose?? What elso could that be??

Dealer is not really the first option here, since mechanics are not really experienced with these kind of motors and are really expensive on human hour worked, i've tryed and received crap like deleting the code only... Also the car is running on EDS re-map 165 HP, 260 NM, only use 97 octanes premium gas and change oil every 5K miles...

I've got a ELM327 reader, wich I connected yesterday to the ECU to check throttle, wich showed 12%, is that the same as "throttle position angle"? (P1101 set in Cruze or Sonic - iATN)

Any ideas, help on this??

I didn't pay attention to the part about the IPF tune. If this were my car the first thing I would do is take the tune out and return it to stock to rule out any of the mods causing the issue.

Do you still have the handheld programmer that comes with the IPF tune or was it done at a local tuner?

Did you ever clean your throttle body? Or did you clear the code after going back to the oem air box as I recommended you do on cruzetalk?

I had the same code when I ported my TB thought it was the MAF sensor. Your either getting to much air flow or to little airflow in to the engine.

Exactly, not sure if its too much or too little. Ill try to clear the TB on the weekend, any advise or guide?? Not even sure where it is, is it after mainfold that follows the air intake under the plate?? Havent ever cleaned it, im @ 30K miles.

Since i tryed with another MAF i think ot might be a dirty TB or a bad PCV (no whistle or sign tho, new design cam). Talking about TB, reading at idle seems normal @ 12%. I have noticed that code tends to comeback after a high RPM drive, sometimes just after a 5-6K rpm run and others next time I turn the car on after the run.

Ive had the following photogram today, CEL P1101 came back three days after I desconected battery to try a relearn.

What could it be?? Air flow?? Came on after a drive I was almost parking.

That's some blow by oil. Loosen the clamps all the way and squeeze the center of the hose and twist hard from side to side

Clean the MAF with MAF cleaner. Clean the TB with TB cleaner. Don't move the TB butterfly. Reinstall stock air box and factory filter. Insure all hoses are reinstalled correctly. Reset codes and unplug battery for 10 minutes or more. Drive.

Also, check your oil filler area. Is there any oil around the valve cover? It will look like misty oil fumes.

There is not.

So i should clean the TB with spray only on the side that air comes in? I
Dont have a spare gasket that seals the other side.

If you don't have gaskets, I would just spray from the outside.

How many miles do you have on it and how long did you run the aftermarket filters?

all miles about 32K, I used a K&N panel filter - and a Ramarir Conic w/o cover for about 20-25K.
