Replacing stock seat cover?

So the previous owner of my car left a few tears in the drivers side seat cover (seat-back only). It looks like the replacement OEM covers go for about $100, which isn't too bad, but I was just curious as to the difficulty? Has anyone tried this before / is this something worth attempting?

came searching for this question about the rear seat cover, I have to replace mine on the 60 of the 60/40. I guess I'll have to nut up and go at it blind!!
