Lol!! Hubby says I have drunk sailor syndrome (as in spending like a drunk sailor). Right now I just have a serious case of the I wants. (Tint, tune, intake, down pipe, cat back, coil overs, wheels....). Probably end up paying medical bills instead. :/

I'm more concerned about parts voiding warranty, cause I have not had good luck with cars and them needing to fixed.

Then stay with a catback exhaust system (you do not need a tune to keep performance gains as there is no sensor) and consider upgrading tires.
Pedders coilovers are GM Performance Parts approved and are the only suspensions mods for the Sonic that are.
Other mods such as Carbon Fiber hoods and such will not harm warranty.
Drop in air filters are safe, short ram intakes have so far been safe but to keep the positive performance improvements need tuned.
Chevy does not automatically check Sonic (or Cruze) engines for tuning like it does for Corvette and Camaro V8 engines and because the two most popular tuning programs to date do not go so far over the edge as to cause problems may never.
I know about transparent tuning. These may pass at the dealer tech level but doubtful at the Chevy engineer level.
I will now wander off to bed so flamethrowers may burn with impunity.

Just made my call and found out that my rebate should be here within 4-6 days. I remember getting the new window sticker and the letter in the mail last month and thinking, "meh oh well, so I've got a relatively unique window sticker." But, hey if they want to pay me as well that's fine . Should help me get my first mod on my car as long as bills pan out *fingers crossed*!

Went to the dealership yesterday after Vanessa said THEY said I wasn't eligible. I brought my 29/40 sticker. I cleared it up and they photocopied my sticker. I sent a pm to customer service on the forum again saying that the dealership now knows I got the wrong sticker. Hopefully this gets cleared up because so far Chevy/GM has been trying to screw me out of this rebate.

GM/Chevy have been trying to do this to me, saying its my fault and that the Sticker is supposed to say 40 mpg on the expressway.

GM's customer service, I am in the process of talking to the dealer because my transmission is getting replaced already with only 1500 miles it.

Likewise. I'm really disappointed in Chevy/GM over this. They sell cars under false pretenses and then go to lengths to NOT make it right.
