"Sleeper Chevy Aveo RS"

I'm looking to add a little sleeper appeal to my '13 Sonic RS. I want to debadge the Sonic emblem and replace it with Aveo, but the Aveo badge that was on the Aveo RS concept. Does anyone know if that Aveo (how many times can I say Aveo in one post?!?) badge is being used on the current model in Korea? And if it can be purchased? I have a picture of it for reference:

The one on this website has the old and newer (concept RS) Aveo emblems in the pictures they have listed, and I don't know how reputable/dependable that site is. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I don't think you're using the term 'sleeper' correctly. A sleeper car is one that looks absolutely 100% stock on the outside, but has power that far exceeds the stock version of the same car. In addition, it's usually a plebeian trim of the car. For example, you can't call an AMG version of any Merc a sleeper because it obviously doesn't look like it's plebeian model counterpart.

By that definition, an RS cannot truly be a sleeper no matter what - it was designed to set itself apart from the get-go.

I understand what you mean, and I do know what a sleeper is, so yea, the title is a bit off, however...we as sonic owners are probably the select few that actually a) know what the RS is and looks like and b) can recognize one on the road. With the Aveo badge, I plan on eliminating the RS emblem off the back, so it's got a custom look. Where I live, it's swarmed with Honda ricers. Just want to harass them a lil bit haha.

Shoulda just got an LT with the turbo and debadged it then put the Aveo logo and ran some steelies. That combined with a tune and some other go fast mods woulda made a really nice sleeper until people heard the turbo.

Speaking of the Honda ricer crowds I had a friend do this with an SI that he boosted and ran EX emblems and steelies on it with some body damage. If the car was parked you wouldn't think twice but running you would have to be a complete idiot or just clueless to think it was a stock EX.

I would've loved an LT. The day I went to the dealership to look at an Inferno Orange LT Hatch, it sold before I got there. BUT, they had a killer deal on the RS, 11k miles, got it for $13,900. Couldn't say no!!

Yeaaa I'm gonna have to say Nay on this idea.

As was said, the car would have to have be fast before it could be a sleeper, plus I would never disgrace a Sonic by putting anything "aveo" in or on it.

If you Google Chevrolet Sonic, the Wikipedia page comes up under Chevrolet Aveo...it's only called the Sonic here in the U.S. because they wanted to wipe the slate clean. Still the Aveo internationally. Just sayin

I've bought stuff on AliExpress before with no problems. Virtually everything comes from Asia (China, mostly). Just like eBay, your protection is the seller's desire to retain a good feedback rating.

I was looking at getting an Aveo, and then the Sonic released. I like Aveos, I think they're great cars for what they are intended for.

The "sleeper" issue has already been addressed, but I get your train of thought for the idea. It's a humble kind of "please underestimate me" kind of idea, and I like it. Kinda wish I had thought of it and done it myself.
