I currently live in an area where most people drive beemers, Ferrari, Porsche, and Corvettes are as common as blades of grass...
I frequently turn my radio off and open my windows so I can hear the roar, scream, and crackle of performance engines. Today I heard someone going nearly WOT (though short shifting) the new Jaguar F-Type, then let off the throttle in second gear. BWEeeerrrrhhhh, pop pop pop.
My wife already gives me a hard time when I point out another Sonic. If I take a picture she tells others how obsessed I am. Now if I park next to one to get a picture I can only imagine what she will say. Oh well, I'm in....hope to post soon.
Nice shot from Walgreens!!
How'd you know it was at Walgreens?
Psychic!! It's on the corner of Randall Rd & Binnie RD in Carpentersville and you're parked in the 2 closest middle spots to the entrance!! I go to Chicago (Itasca) quite often for training. I stay in Schaumberg off of Plum Grove between Higgins Rd and Golf Rd, just down the block from the Woodfield Mall. Everytime I go there are 3 places I have to go to; Tilted Kilt Schaumberg, Champps, and Lou Manalti's. Champps is walking distance, even in the snow, and because we never have a designated driver!! We get a company vehicle so I like to explore!
Tilted Kilt is alright. It is within walking distance of the hotel I stay at for my one trip a year out there. Damn side street/service drive separating it from the hotel. I dont drink very much anymore, so walking distance is an important factor.
