Yeah, the first thing I learned was how to track down anything that rattled and remove it. Empty cans in the cup holders are the worst.

The other rattle was my key fob, I learned that if you fold it down after you start the car it doesn't rattle.

So like I said I was going to. I tested the rubber washer theory . And it failed. Well not totely. I did both above and below the mount and just below. With both on there is was accily worse and some really weird noises to. With them below it seemes to help ever so slightly .
