From the pic you posted, it doesn't look like your 225's stick out more than my Hankooks. You have 45 series, I have 50 and I know that effects "meat".

There is a chance it would work. But I wouldn't bet $240 on it.

I think I might be okay, I will probably get the springs first and then get some measurments and talk with the offset god and see what he recommends.

I was just going to see if I could stretch the 225/45/17's on my trucks 20" rims and then get some 165/55/16 on the LTZ wheels. Win win!

Just personal preference. I've used the grids before and really liked the feel of them. Not to say your first choice was bad.

The RE760's are reasonably priced at ~$150, but I'm taking a liking to the grids. Why you gotta stress me out.

I try and stay away from the direction tires so I can four point rotate vs just front to back, just something else to think about in your tire search. Pirelli PZero's are pretty sick as well.

I began my tire quest by going straight for Pirelli's. That's all I ran on my gixxer. But I don't want to spend more on tires than I paid for the wheels.

I used to have corn rows that matched the tread pattern on my Diablos. Thought I was so gangster...... Now when I look back, it was pretty gay.:sadbanana:
