My brother has one of those Cougars, 1983. Engine, tranny and interior a mess but it looks very good externally.

So I got my updated tune loaded in. Definitely notice an increase in power. Even my sticky KDWs were chirping at the upper end of the tach.
My boost doesn't want to go much past 19 psi, so I logged a hard pull and am going to see if I can uncover a little more powa.opcorn:

Preload, when I did an update mine would go up past 22 psi and after some driving it started working back up. When you drop a new tune in it's starting of the base tune and has no adaptives (driving style learning). This is why I put a couple of hundred miles on the tune before logging and resubmitting for an update (unless there is a noticeable issue that needs to be addressed).

Yea and i sent my log to vince and he said everything looks good

I just thought it was my ug. Its int he negative all the time and goes up to like 3-4 for normal driving. Gunning it only got 14

remember that atmospheric conditions can drastically change boost levels. But near sea level in "cool" conditions you should see more than 15 psi.

My intake temp was 74degrees. Maybe ill log it again to just to make sure. But ill wait until i install my exhaust

When I got an updated tune for the BOV I was seeing around 18 psi or so but after some driving it went back up to 22+ psi.

Keep an eye on it, it could be the new tune as well as the weather. Does it seem to run different?

No but my gas mileage has gone down about 1-2mog from normal but that might be my foots fault.

I agree, I get around 31-32 mpg on 93 100% city driving, if I drove it like an old woman I would probably get at least 36!lol

i had these tires on my 350z as well. I loved them too, i might slap them on the sonic once im pushing a lil more power
