Thermostat voltage code

Does this mean I absolutely need a new thermostat? The car doesn't seem to run hot, and I drive in traffic in Florida. I don't really have the tools for the job so will need to have it done. Also, any ideas on cost?

If you do need a thermostat, I would strongly recommend getting a metal one.
