Tint levels?

I have 20% all around besides the whole windshield i only have a strip and i got pulled over a lil while back and all he said arent ur windows a little dark. I was honest from the start with him tho

? for FedAgent, so someone passing thru PA with tint on driver/passinger windows. Do you stop them? Can you stop someone for ONLY tinted window? We might driver to Ohio and then onto Boston this summer. We really need tint in CO as we are closer to sun :D

Thing that sucks about windshield tint is all a cop needs is polarized glasses and he can tell it's tinted from a mile away.

If the officer is a prick, yes he/she will stop.a out of state car for tint. Similarly, the officer can stop someone for tint only.

Me personally, I never stopped an out of state car for tint alone.

As a federal agent, I dont pull anyone over anymore really. If I do, I have been performing reconnaissance on them for awhile.

I have 15% all around except the windshield and in my opinion it is still too light. I think I'm going to get 5% put on. Its worth paying the $180.

The only bad thing about 5% other than the legal issue. Is driveing at night....when I got 5% on my car I had to drive through st. Louis and as yall know you cant roll the windows down so I had to put my blinker on and hope no one was beside me. You cant see anything but lights.

Well in that case, yes it gets very bright. Also its suppose to be a free country, but then a bunch of brain washed puppets started to help control the world and is leading us into urban warfare and we are far from being "land of the free and home of the brave" instead we are a blinded society that is controlled without even knowing it. Fooled by the media of what's right and what's wrong. I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist and I do not enjoy many officer's of the law. As their job is no longer to "protect and serve" but rather "enforce the law" which is corrupt and just so wrong. I enjoy my privacy as well as my windows tinted:) There's enough cameras all around us anyways invading our privacy every day. Ill do anything to give my self just a bit more privacy which includes having my windows as dark as I want:) Also, I like how it looks.

Fair enough. I agree with almost everything you wrote. As an officer of the law, I see corruption and overeach of power all the time. I thought it was bad when I was on the state level...its even worse since im on the federal level now.
With that being said I make it a point of mine to remember that I work for the people...the citizen.

I can only imagine the level of corruption at the federal level. Its just scary the amount of it that exists in front of us yet we are blind to see it. And as long as you stay true to who you are and aren't just a brainwashed drone, the more power to you and respect.

I went 20% all the way around including eyebrow. I live in northern Kentucky and go to Indiana and Ohio a lot and have never had issues. I had a Nissan hardbody for 5 years with 5% and never got pulled over.

Just getting ready to get my tint and read this. :D

Actually, I don't get pulled over often, but when I do:

-engine is off
-interior lights on
-all windows down
-license, registration and insurance already in plain sight
-both hands on the wheel

This is just from knowing a couple of officers and hearing about the **** they hate. They don't know WTF they'll find when they pull someone over - if I can alleviate some of that stress for someone that puts their life on the line on a daily basis - all the better. :)

I've had 35/20 in several cars before this and never had a problem - so I'm going to give it a try with my Sonic. :)
