Maybe my expectations are low, but The sonic seems really muted inside compared to many other cars I have been in. I prefer to hear whats going on to an extent, and I dont really get that in my car.

Have you ever driven a full frame car that is in good shape? 1970s-80s Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Caprice etc?

You'll find you almost can't feel any vibration at all and typical interior noise if I recall was around 50dB going down the highway. Completely different than any unibody vehicle I've ever been in.

Picture being able to whisper while on the phone using the hands free and the other person being able to hear you while going 65MPH.

Riding in my buddies 370z, there is little to no road noise, and you hardly feel any bumps or holes in the road when he goes over them. It's almost sickening if the music wasn't playing. As for my sonic, I've noticed a slight change in road noise when I put the 19mm spacers on.

With an exhaust where mine is, you dont hear much road noise. Roll the window down even just a little and even less road noise.. The exhaust isnt really that loud even.

Never did sell it, but I was offered 13,500 for my 2013 LT with 6200 miles on it in April from CarMax which was 2-3000 more than any dealership was offering! Ridiculous I say ridiculous!

I can say that I have ridden in a mid 80's full frame car....

You cant feel anything as you glide through the two foot rollers on the lake.

FYI, I looked at KBB and Edmonds, funny Edmonds doesn't accurately have the LTZ as you can't select 1.4 6spd. Anyway, for very good condition 2012 LTZ with low miles <20k -- to sell to private party was $13.2 to 13.6. Trade in was 10.8 to 11.5k.
I just got a 2012 LTZ 1.4 6 speed, very fresh looking 1 owner with moon roof for about $11.9 on ebay including shipping. My first ebay car, so I'm a bit excited and have to wait for delivery. Still under warranty, that was kicker and about a grand under what best price I could find locally on a car with 2x the miles and 2 different types of tires on it.

I don't think I stole it or anything, the buyer got probably more than was offered at a dealer and I got a discount too by avoiding the dealer as well.

They have me 18000 on trade and my sonic was 1 year old with 10000 miles so I think I got a pretty good deal aha

They'd offer you $500 if they could get you to take it and say it with a straight face. Not sure the trim you have but Texas direct buys cars here in Houston and beyond. They supposedly pays decent money, there's also Ebay, but are you really looking to switch?
