TTR Motor and Transmission Mounts Installed

I imagine it was the misfire code. The only time I've read about a flashing CEL it was for misfires. I'm not saying TTR broke my car, in fact I'm actually really happy with the trans mount. It really helped with the shifting. Like tremendously. I remember when I first got the car I sucked at shifting from 1st to 2nd because the car slumped down if I let out the clutch faster than 3 seconds. Now if I just let out it still slumps down but nowhere near as much, it's actually manageable. Those vibrations with the popcorn start and the CEL were scary though and I'll try to see if I can capture it in a log and see what's going on.

Please confirm you don't have a code. Also if you do what code it was.

Are you sure everything is bolted up correctly?

The flashed and then turned off when the revs dropped. It didn't store a code and have not had another. I bolted everything based on the replacement guide online and torqued it to the appropriate value. I imagine it was the combination of the ac being on and the popcorn start. On another note though I installed the engine mount today and now the drone id pretty crazy. Does it go away when the mounts are broken In?

Be prepared to chase down the rattles in the car haha. That's what I'm doing now. I have TTR lower transmission mount and zzp upper transmission mount and TTR engine mount. The vibrations are crazy but the engine and trans do not move at all now

I've been doing some sound deadening around the hatch and spare well. This has worked really well for how cheap you can pick it up.

It's comparable to a mid grade car audio specific product, and without the logos it's half the price

After about 100 miles I have started to notice a diminished amount of vibrations. They're not yet bearable but soon! Because race car!

I have about 700 miles on the trans mount and about 600 on the engine mount. The vibrations are really only noticeable in the lower RPM's. And it doesn't drone as much. I datalogged it last night though and apparently it's only making 130 ft-lbs of torque. I doubt that, it doesn't feel significantly faster but it doesn't feel slower than stock either. I would know if it were.

Handling upgrade

Installed upper & lower TTR mounts + Moog end links + ZZP upper trans mount. I almost crashed because the handling was better. Now I will explain how better handling can lead to crashes.

So Turbo has handled the same for the last 5 years. Sticky tires or suspension kit didn't really change driving dynamics. After the upgrades listed above, I notice (1) slower acceleration from a roll. b/c ECU reset, 55 deg last night & 85 deg today, and handling is much better so if feeeels like it isn't as quick but now. What's really happening is when asked to chose a direction, the car doesn't decide to paint her nails and respond at a later time.

I was driving a different car.

Before, on the freeway, I could make slight steering inputs and still stay straight; now no. I nearly crashed into a Nissan Titan while changing the radio station, so wonderful, so much response. Deceleration is weird now because there is control.

I could see how people don't dig this, it has minimal vibes compared to a race car, but noticeable. It firms up manual shifts, and the handling creates a new driving dynamic that some may not find appealing. I love it, and it'll feel normal in a few weeks.
