Hey hows it going! Completely forgot I bought the coilovers off you. I too long pondered the idea of doing a manual swap, but just decided to sell the auto for the manual to avoid a massive head ace. I also hate the sedan and wanted a different color. BTW we both have the granite black sonic now:banana:
The coilovers are still performing well. I plan to run stiffer springs in the rear soon and also cut off some of the rear perch to allow more movement. If I have a lot of weight in the rear and hit a bump the rear perch will make contact. Stiffer springs (that are also 1" shorter) will allow same ride height as current, but will also enable me to load the rear.

There is no secret? I was just saying I dont have a good enough explanation as to how returning the fuel line will fix the fueling issue.
The solution is returning the fuel line and running a bigger fuel pump.
No secret.

Fueling is not an issue for people running a stock turbo or even the gtx. BTW here is some more info... FUEL PUMP:banana:

Basically half planning on doing it out of spite
Half because I want to
And all because god dammit I want less than a 15 1/4 mile at least
I'm just worried about oiling
That's about the only thing I don't have fingered out yet
And well money
Plus warranty is still good so it's a bit off
At least till powertrain warranty is gone

Best of luck. I would love to see a turbo 1.8! Plus you would be able to spool a bigger turbo a bit easier. I would be afraid of how much boost it will hold. Also rods and pistons might give, but not to discourage. Make it happen:banana:

Cast pistons Arent much to doubt
Especially gm ones
Stock block gen 4 ls pistons and rods hold 1k wheel
Which are cast
I'm "only" shooting for 300 wheel max until either a I have a complete second short block and rotating assembly or b I have better internals
Really I'm just going to be happy at 200-250 but we all know how that goes
I'm more worried about valve springs than anything else

That would be a huge milestone for the 1.8. To me what would be most exciting is how much better it will spool a bigger turbo. My gt2056 takes a little time to spool. Not terrible, but in the 1.8 it would be much better!
Any thoughts on which turbo you want to run?

I'm not exactly shooting for huge power but I'm thinking something like a 65/65 or 75/65
Large I know but I want it nice and lazy
Plus easier for power that way
I'm still not truly decided yet

I have thought about doing a second turbo kit for my car with a bigger turbo. Id likely do a gt2860. See here...GT2860R

It may be optional to run water cooling, but it would be of best interest to if you have to option. My gt2056 doesn't have a water line.
Yeah it is ball bearing.
Approximately 1,200 bucks.
MPFab sells the oil and water fittings. Then you can have the oil and water lines made. His fittings are top notch.
