Here's one of my rattle can projects. Tried out the Duplicolor Metalcast "anodizing" paint. It worked really well. I'm impressed with the transparency of the color. This won't be the only item I paint, but I don't want to get crazy yet. Trying out my other idea tomorrow.

Got started on day one of an epic three-day transformation!! We had a preliminary scrub down and major bug overhaul. Clay barred the hood, roof and rear end, will do the rest tomorrow.

I worked last night, woke up this afternoon and got started, have to work tonight too, so I'm going to miss seeing the transformation in person but I trust my graphics guy and my hubby... Not sure how I feel about the graphics guy's response to me saying that "...muahahahahaaa".

So tomorrow then will be a final clay bar and full wax (vinyl too) and start on the big interior details like vacuuming and wiping the leather and dusty surfaces. Final details will happen Friday and then again Saturday am.

Wheels will be done last thing because I've got work and a three hour road trip Friday.

Thanks again! The dynamics of the textured CF vinyl lend an amazing subtlety to it that all out black or just glossy CF wouldn't have given.

Like the Decepticon placement? We did it in CF as well. You can only see it in the right light. Perfect!
