Changed the color of my wheel bowtie. I like it better now.
Also went and picked up the netbook that will be my tuning fork. Gotta replace the screen, but hey, dual-core Dell with 1g Ram on Windows XP, for FREE.. should be a quick little machine for just running my tune.
AND I found a menagerie of vinyl scraps in my friends' shop. Gives me an idea

Yeah I got started on my tinting project yesterday. I was going to finish today if they couldn't get me in for tint. I'll finish up later this week. Can you tell the door strips are tinted as well? I'm so in love with the "black chrome" look.
I love the tint and bowtie. What did you use for the chrome piece about the license plate? It looks kind of matte silver...nice.

I used tinted vinyl to cover the majority of the chrome. It blends it nicely with the cyber gray
. I have a thread in the Exterior Mods section about it if you're interested. We have the BEST color, huh?

It's bothering the crap out of me that the only thing I want is the black center caps that the RS has.. Gonna have to steal a VIN from Cars.com and look it up at work tomorrow.
Very nice looking so far. Love my car but I wish I would have waited a little bit longer so I'd have the extra money to shell out for the RS I think I'd have the only blue RS on here. (maybe?)

If they made the RS in blue then yes. IIRC, the only choices are white, red, grey, and black on the RS.

I have cheap rubber ones in now, the RS ones will be summer only I'm afraid. As far as the color, I liked the black accenting on the RS and wanted it to stand out, the gray was closest to black I could do without being black lol.

I still like it.... You are doing an Awesome Job on yours, I really like it. Have you decides on Racing stripes? If you do and your friend has a cool pattern, if they can have kits available for sale that would be cool. I was looking into a Ghost Racing strip but wanted it to start with a nice hood design first.

I do have some schematics fixed up. They aren't on the car but I'll post them for opinions and maybe someone can chop them on the car for me.
Got the bowtie in the mail today, just in time to send her off with hubby for the weekend :/
