Did you hear anymore on their Sonic RS exhaust? They tested their solution on mine while there, and I am quite happy with the results. Just before I left a local (Grand Rapids) Chevy dealer sent over a brand new RS to have the ZZP exhaust installed, so that would have given them a backup to make sure the fix worked.

I haven't heard a lot, last I heard they were looking for a tip that would look good as a replacement. They said they had an RS on the lift and I wondered if it was yours

Looks like it'll be a later investment.

I thought about using the oem trapezoidal, and I may, but I like the one that came from DDMWorks. To me, the oem needs another on the passenger side for balance but the fuel tank is there.

I would like to see what ZZP decides on so am hoping you do not defer. Of course the ZZP is a 2.5" system and the DDMWorks is a 2.25" system which might make a difference.

I'm going to try doing the rings but this vinyl might be too thick, I'm not sure if it'll stick so well in the little intentions. I love this look so much I can't stop STARING at it. I am just so happy with the overall look of my car right now I could jump up and down and squeal every time I see it...lol.

I have some other awesomeness that came about as I was sitting down by the wheel that I can't wait to bring to life. Just gotta get her in for the stripes.

Did some quick tests. Everything seems good. I am sure I will find out if people post results.

A little tip for the rear rings. They unscrew if you remove the tail light assembly. Then you could spray with soapy water, lay tint over it and hit it with a hair dryer. It will conform around the contours.

The same can be done to the fronts, but I don't take you for the type that wants to snap the tabs off to remove them, nor remove the bumper to properly remove them.

So the reasonable thing to do, is try it on the rear per my suggestion to get acquainted with the behavior when using heat, and then decide if you feel comfortable doing it to the front rings whilst remaining installed.

Any day I can squeeze "whilst" into a sentence, is a good day.

Insanika, I was looking at vinyl. I bought both the black and carbon.

I am going to do the bow ties two tone. Not sure which way, but I am thinking carbon fiber for the chrome around the bow tie, and black for the center.

Might even do the rings on the headlights and fogs. Can't do it until Wednesday. I will let you know how it goes.

Wish I had red vinyl and do old school red boarder with black center.

Awh, what you can't see in the third pic is my hair dryer. I used heat the whole time. I can probably tackle the rings right on the car.
