Yes, because it's great for removing bugs off of paint as I originally stated. And I already had a can of it, so why not?

Check out a product called "Forever Black." Found it on Amazon. Have used it on my Honda scooter dyeing all the black plastic. This is a permanant solution, unlike Back to Black...

I want to debadge my car, what should I use to remove the adhesive from my badges? Is Goo-Gone safe on vehicle paint? I heard a lot of people say to use 3M adhesive remover instead...

either should be fine, just don't use those products on plastic.

I can see how this would happen, someone see's the turtle brand and thinks it would be ok for all surfaces. Even if the directions do say not to use it on plastic, I think a company like turtle would at-least try to make it safe for all surfaces on a car.

Had the same problem. You can also use armor all wich is used to clean the dash of the interior. It took the white stains off looked like new.

Did you just use regular armor all? I have some white reside on my front mirror from some 3M adhesive remover spray that I was using to get some pinstripe adhesive off.

when i went to go get my windows tinted the guy saw the left over adhesive from the dealer sticker. He showed me this bottle he said was called awesome sauce or something like that lol from the dollar tree. He sprayed it on the rag, pressed the rag up against for about 30 seconds, then he wiped it off like it was nothing. My dad told me to also try kerosene.

I actually took all my factory pinstripe off today and there was a lot of adhesive left over. put A little kerosene on a rag and it came right off, didnt damage the paint at all. have to wipe off the kerosene after tho. But it came off so easy !!!

If they used a vinyl sticker, you can heat it up (unless it's already hot outside) and use a credit card. I had to put some goo-gone to get residue off.

For those plastic badges, you can use dental floss to break up the adhesive. Use goo-gone to remove any residue.
