Well, let's see if I can get some help here really quick. I'm putting on my intake that I got today in the mail. Only problem though, I start the car and it starts hard. Then it kills itself and gives me these two code (P2228 and P0113). Anyone got ideas?

You have 2 sensors that are either reversed or not installed in the new intake? Both those errors have to do with intake sensors.

Well I figured it out, thanks to $ub$onic for his help. It happen to be that my mass air flow sensor is upside down so it isn't reading right, causing the car to run rough then die.

Tomorrow and the remaining of the week seem to be looking good so far. Hopefully got my DDM Shifter Bushings and a new piece to my K&N Intake coming in tomorrow. Once they get here I'll be able to throw them on quick. Then later this week I have my Redline Tuning Hood Struts coming in as well. Last but not least though, got a car meet coming up this Friday. It'll be held at one of my works buildings they have. So, I'll get to represent the Sonic some. Guaranteed lots of pictures coming up.

not really possible if I remember correctly.

Thanks Hulty, just got a little curious when my friend at work was helping me put them in. After having them for a few days now, it feels so much better. The gears feel more direct and everything about it is nice.

FINALLY, I was able to get the K&N intake and Redline Hood Struts on my car. So glad to finally have it all on my car. Gotta say just doing these few mods so far is making me want more! Any ideas on what I should do next? I'm totally open to suggestions. Also, here are a couple pictures of the intake and one of the hood struts.

On my way home today, I was at a stop sign on the highway. No one was around and I took off like normal. When I got into third gear I kinda got on it till it was about 4,000rpms. I put the clutch in and threw it in neutral because my turn was coming up. I happened to look down at my RPM's and noticed when I put in the clutch the RPM's went down but not all the way. Then they climbed to about 1500rpms and then feel to normal. I've never had it happen before but really wondering if something is wrong or if it's just normal. Any ideas?

That's probably just normal. The RPMs do all kinds of things depending on if you are stationary, rolling, letting the clutch out, etc.

Thank god! I was thinking it might've been a dragging clutch or something. Still really new to the whole driving a manual, but got the basics down and all that. Just scary when random things happen that I'm not to sure about.

That's great to know. Thank you! But, I have some more money now and I'm looking at getting something else for her. Kinda stuck if I should get the Borla exhaust, chevy performance suspension, wheel and tires, or the ZZP sway bar and DDM rear brace. Maybe even something else. Anyone got any ideas?
