Added the RS center caps which I ordered through a GM dealer. They fit perfectly, part number is 95459391 is anyone's interested. They're about $13 a piece.

Also added a fairing to my roof rack. (finally)

2200k mile break-in oil change and added the belly pan that I ordered from GM parts direct.

Got rid of the glue residue from the pinstripes that came on the car that I removed. Then checked the lug torque...

...and added a little special something for the meet this weekend

Is that necessary? Just put over 2k on mine and haven't heard this.

Normal maintenance cycles do not indicate this as necessary. It is a precaution to remove the oil that could have shavings cycling in it from break in.

No problem, it doesn't hurt to do it but if GM thought it was necesarry they would make sure all their cars/trucks had to come in early for an oil change and that it was noted in the owners manual. I personally do it early though.

I detailed my interior. Put some shine and protectant on the plastic and leather, turned out really nice I didn't think the rough texture of some of the pieces would coat well, but it turned out pretty good.

How's the tune make the 1.8 feel? Better throttle response I hope? The tune is still on my radar, just keeps getting pushed back.

As for my Sonic, today I forgot to take it out of gear when I started her up. Let off the clutch as soon as the engine started and went forward about a foot with the rear wheels dragging and making a nice chirp before the engine died. Luckily the gas station was deserted at the time and I didn't get any embarrassing stares (except perhaps the attendant).

The things my poor car has to go through, being owned by an idiot like myself... :sadbanana:

Took it to the car wash and dried her off real nice and put some tire shine on the tires. Wiped down the inside of the doors as well.

Lookin good. Noticed a small scratch by one of the headlights. Probably caused by a stone.
