Got the oil changed yesterday, had Mobil 1 put in. I swear the sound of the engine is different now, it's calmer and smoother sounding, like a purr, not a click.
The Vibe people thought I was crazy and it was in my head when I said that when I switched the Vibe over to Mobil 1...
Also since I hit 8k recently, the tires were rotated.
Wish I had a safe place at home to jack up my car and do this myself :sadbanana:

Finally got it lowered with eibach springs. They ride really nice. Also plati dipped the bottom of the rear bumper the other day. Sorry the pics aren't the best.
Damn. Those 2 things are the only things on my to-do list :blankface: but thanks for showing me how it'll look lol

I finally got to check to my spark plug gap after a few things I've read on here. 3 were at .025 and a 4th was at .026. Changed them to .028 and I no longer have a bumpy idle. The tach needle would stay in place but I'd feel a slight hiccup in the idle at times.
What prompted me to check the gap was a little bit of surging I was intermittently getting in 2nd and 3rd gears under moderate boost (I'm on stock tune) when ambient temps were at 90-ish. I am using 93 octane top-tier gas only, so a fuel issue wasn't likely.
Idle has been silky since regapping and don't feel surging any longer - even though that one was sporadic so nothing has been proven yet. No butt-dino difference.
EDIT: oh and I washed her and cleaned her on the inside. Looks sexy.

Mainly just need to finish up the flange which connects my grill to the mounting tabs. Its not going to be a fun or easy job. The corners need to be rounded off, paint and polish and I should be ready for molding.
Had a lot of fun getting the beer can center caps to work. Black lugs really go well with the rest of the car IMO.

Went to Cars and Coffee in Boston today, and for the first time, I didn't park in the spectator lot. I have the Eibach and Enkei treatment now, so I figured why not. First time on the lawn, and my car looked slammed, lip down in the grass.
