What you need! Headlamp Projector & HID Retrofit

I also have bi-xenon's but need to switch some wiring around. The solenoid always stayed engaged so I disconnected for the time being. It still runs like the stock headlights work with the low always on when the hi-beam is engaged. Pics from a small shoot over the weekend, I think the lighting worked great with the demon eyes.

Beastlick your lights look sick.

But that is a great idea to have all four lights retrofitted but only running the lows. You would have a super bright beam spread for sure.

I really want HID's but I don't feel like $400 is worth the retrofit. I'm not going to run HID bulbs in halogen housing, that's just stupid...some nice quality bulbs and Oracle Halo lights will do the job just fine for what I'm looking to do (looks really).

Thanks for the thread though, it helped me find out some information about separating my lenses for my Halo install!

If you do this mod, you will lose the ability to use the bulb cover on the back of the headlight assy. Shouldn't be a big deal but just saying. I am working on a retrofit harnes to allow the covers to be used. will be a while but will post when done.

It DOES depend on the projector used. The TRS Mini H1 and D2S systems bolt into the stock bulb port. Even my KTM projectors do the same and I've used the stock back caps and drilled a hole with grommet to run the wires through.

Hey! I'm still here...My first posts I still had the 350z, but I traded it in and bought a 2013 Sonic LT hatchback as of two days ago.....

I have to admit...the lighting on this car is a lot better than I thought it would be for having reflector housings instead of projectors...

I've got a Rebel t3i DSLR, maybe tonight i'll attempt to take a pic of the stock lighting.

I am planning to install halos in the stock reflector housings.
A full retrofit would be nice but I cant justify that price.

I think I have read every halo/retrofit thread but many either end with beastlick or aftermarket halogen projectors from anzo or sppc.

However, the easiest way seems to be to wire them to the parking lights.
This is where I'm stuck...

I want these to replace drls and also come on when the car is unlocked instead of the headlights. And allow the headlights to be kept on auto mode.

So what I need to know is; in settings if you turn off light feedback on unlock, does that disable the headlights upon unlock at night?
(I cant check this because i have an aftermarket radio)

Also I guess if no one has figured out a way to disable drls then this is somewhat pointless.
